Therapeutic Massage

My therapeutic massage practice specializes in TMJ/TMD therapy, cervical spine treatment, and trauma-informed bodywork using trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and intraoral massage techniques for comprehensive pain relief.
For TMJ/TMD conditions, I recommend a series of 6 weekly sessions for optimal results. For cervical and neck pain, treatment frequency depends on severity, typically ranging from weekly to bi-weekly sessions. Each treatment plan is individualized based on your specific condition and response to therapy.
  • TMJ/TMD therapy: Initial consultation, followed by 30-min or 60-min sessions with intraoral work.
  • Neck & cervical medical massage: 30-minute and 60-minute sessions available.

Neck Conditions That Can Benefit from Medical Massage

Massage therapy targeted to the neck can help with many types of pain and tension, including:
  • Whiplash – Reduces stiffness and pain after car accidents or sudden injury.
  • Tension headaches – Releases tight muscles that often trigger head pain.
  • Migraines – Helps calm muscle tension that can contribute to migraine attacks.
  • Tech neck/posture strain – Eases soreness from looking down at phones or sitting at a computer.
  • Cervical strain and sprain – Supports recovery from overstretched or irritated neck muscles.
  • Herniated or bulging discs (muscle-related pain) – Relieves muscle guarding and secondary tightness.
  • Pinched nerves (muscle-related symptoms) – Reduces compression from tense muscles.
  • Neck arthritis (cervical osteoarthritis) – Helps decrease stiffness and improve movement.
  • Thoracic outlet syndrome – Relieves tight muscles that can press on nerves and blood vessels.
  • Muscle spasms and knots – Releases painful trigger points and restores normal muscle function.
